Hello all! It has been quite a fun month here at Shark Club. Everyone was getting in Holiday spirit from seeing what our visitor Clark the elf has been up to, to watching Polar Express in our PJ's with nice warm hot cocoa, candy cane hunts, making Grinch Slime, TLC Club visiting and SO much more! We are excited to jump in a New Year and keep planning fun activities for all. I hope you all enjoy your Winter Break and see you next year!
Can you believe we've already made it to December?! Time really does fly when you're having fun :) the month of November was full of excitement, focusing a lot on spreading kindness and reflecting on what we're thankful for. Fall and Winter are my two favorite seasons and it was a blast getting to spend it with the Shark Club students and families this year! One of my favorite activities of the month would have to be DIY Jenga Keychains with Club 54. Truly, any activity with Club 54 is a blast, not only because we purposefully plan more in-depth activities for our older kiddos but because most of them are actually inspired by ideas from our 4th and 5th graders themselves. We recognize that making time for our older Shark Club participants is super important to their learning and social development (plus, it's fun to just know you get to hang out with your peers and do something specially planned for you). We got to use real Jenga pieces to make our own unique keychains, decorating with scrapbook paper, paint, markers and more!
Happy Friday and happy December, all! Have a wonderful weekend!
